Perla Muller, entering her second year as a Bachelor of Architecture candidate at the BAC, hails from the Dominican Republic and Panama, where she lived until moving to the United States at the age of 15.
Before transferring to the BAC, Perla studied architecture at Miami Dade College, where she received her associate's degree at an accelerated rate. Before moving to MA, she was awarded the Presidential Award for completing more than 100 volunteer hours at Habitat for Humanity in a year. She thoroughly enjoyed her work and giving back to the community.
Perla was recently elected as a Atelier student representative and this past summer she was working as an intern in Dallas, TX at the Department of Veteran Affairs in the Engineering Department assisting with construction documents.
