Lonnie Ash is currently gearing up for his second year at the BAC in the Master of Architecture program. Lonnie, originally from Colorado Springs, CO and Atlanta, GA, holds a BS degree in Space Operations which he earned from the US Air Force Academy (where he served as an officer).
At the BAC, Lonnie is currently a member of NOMAS (the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students) and is participating in a gateway project assisting the Department of Neighborhood Design in Boston, MA in their goal of creating sustainable and livable housing.
With no background in Architecture, Lonnie credits his educational decision on "personal research mixed with a pinch of luck and a dash of soul-searching."
