Bianca’s regimented background helps a lot with juggling the demands of school and a full time job, however, being in a subjective field is a tough transition from the military. She has had a few amazing accomplishments in the military, but she regards her greatest accomplishment thus far as leaving that life behind and starting all over.
Although she has no background in design, she has learned a lot from the BAC community. She became interested in design doing small home projects with her mom while growing up, and really likes how transforming spaces can affect your feelings. She participated in Flocks, a Gateway Project in Spring 2011, and worked on the International Interior Design Association Fashion Show this Fall.

Bianca currently works for Next Step Living, the lead vendor for the MassSave program, which is the state of Massachusetts’ way of helping home owners live more efficiently by providing no cost home energy assessments, insulation and air sealing. She works in logistics for now, but hopes to migrate to Next Step Builders, which focuses on brand new construction with a specific focus on sustainability.
