Heath Cody is a Master of Architecture candidate currently working on his thesis. He grew up in Woodstock, Connecticut and currently lives in Chelsea, MA.
Heath started learning the details of architecture at a young age as he was introduced to construction. His father was a carpenter and some of the projects were around his home. During high school he attended workshop classes in carpentry and cabinet making, and built additions for homes and a church. He began to study the drafting and design of single family residential homes and was recommended to work at a local design build construction company.

Heath graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from The New England Institute of Technology in 2003. Over the years, he has learned the importance of components in architecture. This attention to detail allows him to understand what he is designing and how they can be built. A successful architect must know how to design as well as how to document and construct their design solutions.
Heath’s thesis study is realizing the need for bicycle, scooter and motorcycle maintenance and learning resources for the growing rider population in Boston. The architectural solution will be a 'hub' where resources will be provided for urban cyclists.
