Colin Kreik is a candidate in the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program where he currently presides as a Student Ambassador and a member of SASLA (the Student American Society of Landscape Architects chapter at the BAC). Colin currently is participating in the Practice component by working at Camp Dresser & McKee in Cambridge, MA.
Colin comes from a family engulfed in design; his uncle is an architect in Los Angeles, many of his immediate family members are engineers, and his family in Beirut, Lebanon owns and operates a prominent marble factory.
Colin considers his recently secured employment at Camp Dresser & McKee to be one of his biggest milestones at the BAC to date. The tasks and opportunities afforded to him by this Practice position have led to what Colin considers to be one of the best concurrent experiences he could have hoped for.
With a background in sports and now roots in landscape architecture, Colin has decided to pursue golf course design and real estate development post graduation. He believes that the constant focus on space, materiality, community, organization, and technical aspects of design that he had developed during his tenure at the BAC and Camp Dresser & McKee will lead him to a successful and fulfilling career.
